The Kalachakra Stupa

Pedro Gómez while once traveling in eastern Tibet saw a Kalachakra stupa near the border of the old Tibet. This stupa was made to protect against negative energies from outside the country.
Here he got the idea to built a stupa with the same purpose in the south of Spain. Woitek Kossowski was the architect, and under the guidance of the Ven. Lopön Tsechu Rinpoche the Kalachakra stupa was constructed in the summer of 1994, from July 18 to September 12.
This kind of stupa is very rare, it is only the third of its kind to be built in the world. It is 13 meters high, and has a ground area of 49 square meters. Inside were placed many relics from the present and former Buddhas, the complete Kanjur and Tanjur (all Buddhas teachings) as well as objects from life today.
The stupa was constructed without any obstacles, and in October 1994 it was inaugurated in the presence of people from all over the world, who were witness to many auspicious signs which appeared on that occasion.

The Enlightenment Stupa

The Enlightenment stupa was also built under the guidance of Ven. Lopön Tsechu Rinpoche with Maggy Lehnert, architect Wojtek Kossowski and the help of many friends from around the world.
