About Roland:

Roland Beck first met Buddhism in South Africa in the 1990s. In 2000, he met Lama Ole and took refuge in Canada. He completed Ngondro in 2003.

He moved to Karma Guen in 2002 and lived there for eight years, helping to build and run the Centre. Since 2005, he has been a traveling teacher. His longest trip with Ole was an amazing Russian winter tour in 2004.

Professionally, he works in corporate transformation and leadership advisory. He enjoys connecting with his land in Galicia and traveling through Southern Africa whenever possible, while managing a busy life.

He is the proud father of two Spanish daughters, Sofia and Emilia, now 20 and 17.
